The Scottish New Music Awards objective is to promote Scottish artists, bands and peripheral companies and to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music.
Our goals include:
- To promote the Scottish Music Industry and to deliver an identity that is currently unrepresented.
- To turn the event into an Award, Conference and Festival event.
Currently, there is no equivalent to the Scottish New Music Awards in Scotland. The company believes that by entering the marketplace first and by establishing a quality standard, it will become, and remain, a leader in the UK music industry.
Mission
The Scottish Music Awards aims to provide a fair yet competitive arena for all aspects of the music industry within the Scottish borders. By recognising talent, professionalism and value for money the Scottish New Music Awards intends to raise the bar and provide a platform for new talent/business to showcase them.
